“My story hasn’t been written yet … but I know it begins with you.”
Quite expectedly, this book was so much fun! The pages flew by and I found myself having intense separation anxiety at the end. Emma Chase is truly one of my go to authors for fun, humor and wit. She’s reliable like that. And I’m thankful for authors like her who could just pull you out of whatever funky mood you’re in and just make you feel like you’re part of her story.
Following Royally Screwed, this is now the story of younger brother, Prince Henry as he struggles with life after his older brother chose the woman he loves over his crown. I was truly intrigued as to what will happen to Henry since his ways and personality are far from being dutiful and responsible.
Being inside Henry’s head is a fun, comical ride. Emma Chase really knows how mix humor and wit and create lovable and fun characters that readers will enjoy reading about. Not surprisingly, I also fell in love with Sarah. I could see parts of myself in her actually. The love for books, the awkwardness and social withdrawal. Sarah is quite the introvert but as Henry grows, so does Sarah. Henry and Sarah are exact opposites but they found growth in each other and it was beautiful seeing the changes in them. That ending, more specifically was a beautiful touch and I love that the romance was unhurried and allowed to bloom spectacularly.
This book is hilarious and fun but equally sweet, matured and romantic. I do hope I get to see more of Henry and Sarah in the future books and I can’t wait to see more of Henry being in his element and Sarah living life as royalty.
If you’re looking for a fast paced, fun and something that you just can’t put down – this one’s for you.
He’s not handling it well.
Hoping to help her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora agrees to give him “space”—but while the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:
Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.
A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world’s most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.
While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.
The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit… and her naughty sense of humor.
But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.
As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.
