Review Headings - Blurb

She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

Let’s take a moment to show appreciation to all four covers together, alright.

Mind you, I’m not really the type to invest so much attention in a book JUST because of a male body gracing the covers. Nope, that’s not the case. What I like about the Off Campus covers is that it was made to look manly and mysterious at the same time.  Frankly, I love the appeal of not knowing the face of the male model. It just leaves a lot to the imagination.

  1. This makes me so happy you have no idea. 🤗 I love these covers and the books are amazing. I was going to pre-order The Goal since I’ve been waiting for this book since January, but I was thinking I’d hold out for NetGalley and hope Elle adds it. Either way, I can’t wait to read Tuck’s book. That cliffhanger at the end of Dean’s shocked me. 🙊

      • I know I couldn’t believe that ending. I was like no way! I’m not a fan of Sabrina at this point from her portrayal in other books. I’m curious to see how I’ll feel about her in Tuck’s book. I don’t know about you but I want more Dean. I could read 10 books about him. 😍 I’m wondering if Elle will do a book from Justin’s POV since he’s the one this all started with you know with Hannah having a crush on him. That would be an interesting book.

        • OMG!!!!! I LOVED DEAN TOO!!! I wasn’t expecting to like him that much but he easily became my favorite too. His character is something. And yeah, I’m still wary of how I will like Sabrina’s character but I’m ready to be surprised and amused. I like your way of thinking and I agree with you. Seeing things from Justin’s POV is bound to be interesting too. Who knows right? 🙂 🙂

          • I know, right? Who would’ve thought opening Dean’s first intro with a threesome would make him a likable character? I saw some complaints about that in Amazon reviews, but I just laughed because that’s already the image I had of Dean from previous books. I was really shocked Elle went with Sabrina for Tuck’s love interest cause I don’t think anyone liked her. I hope she plans to continue the series. I don’t care if the guys have mystery brothers we’ve never heard of I need more. 🙂

  2. I love the covers. I still have yet to read any of the books in the series but I’m hoping to next month. I think the goal’s cover in my favourite and I like the fact that they alternate between facing forward + sideways bent.
