“The funny thing about words was that you couldn’t unhear them once they’d been spoken.”

Elizabeth Lyons has one rule for herself: No Distractions.
No distractions basically translates into No Men; which definitely means HELL NO when it comes to Daniel Alexander.
After a chance meeting at a professional function Daniel is not interested in letting Elizabeth go. No matter how much Elizabeth tries to stay away from Daniel, he’s not the kind of guy who lets something he wants walk out of his life. The question is, will she let him catch her?
Daniel and Elizabeth continue to grow closer, until a lie threatens to tear them apart for good. Can Daniel really be trusted or is he just like every other guy out there?
The conclusion of Daniel & Elizabeth’s story.
When people from their past threaten to tear their relationship apart, how will they deal with the pressure? Elizabeth threatens to throw it all away for the sake of her sanity.
Will Daniel let her?
Heartless is one story broken down into three episodes. It was good but not great. It was entertaining but not too much to leave a mark. Nevertheless, it was a good read that kept me entertained without getting too attached to the characters. It was quite the break I needed and I welcomed it with open arms.
“Everyone has baggage. But some people are worth unpacking for – or at least helping with their carry-on luggage or something.”
The story revolves around driven and successful Elizabeth who swore off men and dating due to her college and family history. Her resolve came crumbling down when she met her match in Daniel Alexander, sexy, successful and used to getting what he wants. It’s a light read with a storyline that’s quite easy to figure out. Put a driven girl with a bad lovelife history and a sexy goal oriented male in the mix plus humor and banter, and you got yourself an easy and entertaining read.
If you’re looking for something to read that will help pass time or if you just want to be entertained without having your heart smothered, then this series is right up your alley.
